Healing Happens EPK

Healing Happens

This Americana project takes the listener on an emotional journey from grief to healing.

After the death of my husband, the songs started coming fast. It was as if they were falling out of the sky. It was as if we were somehow, still communicating through the music.

Eventually, after I had written this many songs, there became a time when, I realized that it was becoming a complete body of work. A concept album. A journey that I can take other people on in hopes of helping them find their way to healing.

Initially the healing was for him. Then it became healing for me. And going forward I hope that it becomes healing for others who are experiencing any kind of grief.

What People Are Saying

“From the title that contains the line “after a while, there might be a smile,” the entire theme conveys how it is not as if someone flicks on a light switch, but more like how the days just get longer in the spring and there’s more sunshine - it’s a gradual, not an immediate, lightening. I truly loved “the joy of coming home,” “you’re gone’” and “monster in the closet”. It is a masterful body of work, my friend.” Tony Arata – Songwriter; The Dance, Dreaming with My Eyes Open

“What I thought I would find desperately sad, instead I found healing, hopeful, memorable and a joyful celebration. What a wonderful gift to the world! Thank you Robin!” Pam Gadd – Bluegrass Artist / Songwriter

“This is a marvelous piece of work ! Your writing, vocals, and musicianship shine!” - Rob Crosby -Songwriter; Friday Night, Concrete Angel, Holding a Good Hand

“A work of Art.” - Stephen Wrench-Founder and CEO of Musik and Film

“Healing Happens” takes the listener through Heartbreak to Healing.. Literally. It’s an emotional trip, but well worth the journey. This is Grammy worthy.” - John Hart - Hart Media

“Listening to Robin Ruddy’s Healing Happens, brings a sense of comfort for those of us who have experienced a loss.” - Craig Brandwein - Music Producer at Center Sound Productions

“Music has the power to heal and connect. When you purchase Healing Happens you are not only giving yourself the gift of healing music, you are supporting Alive hospice patients and their families.” - Alive President/CEO, Kimberly Goessele
